Routed

Tour where the fans are dense, not where the cities are big.

Name an artist. An agent reads Qloo's taste graph for the cities where their fans are unusually dense and the rooms those fans go to, picks one support act whose audience overlaps for the whole run, then routes the dates, sizes every room to the crowd and drafts a checked pitch for each venue.

About a minute. No sign-up.

How a route is made

  1. Find where the fans over-index

Qloo's heatmap shows where Sierra Ferrell fans are denser than the taste of the place would predict. That is rarely the list of biggest cities.

    Biggest cities

    1. New York
    2. Los Angeles
    3. Toronto
    4. Chicago
    5. Houston
    6. Montréal

    Sierra Ferrell fan cities

    1. Asheville 100
    2. Nashville 100
    3. Portland 99
    4. Denver 99
    5. Austin 99
    6. Santa Fe 100
  2. Pick the rooms and the support act

For each city the agent asks Qloo which music venues these fans already go to, and which smaller artists share the audience; one of them supports every date. In Lexington:

    • The Burl90
    • Manchester Music Hall87
    • Tin Roof85

Support on every date: Kelsey Waldon

  3. Route and date it by rule

The shortest drive from Nashville, no two shows within 150 km, at most 8 hours behind the wheel on a show day, a day off after five in a row.

    • 05/06 Nashville0 km
    • 05/07 Lexington346 km
    • 05/09 Knoxville277 km
    • 05/12 Austin1,719 km
    • 05/14 Santa Fe1,167 km
  4. Pitch every room, checked

Nemotron drafts a hold request from each stop's evidence. Every figure in it is checked against that evidence; anything that isn't there is struck out.

I’d like to hold Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8 for Sierra Ferrell at the Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center in Lexington. Lexington ranks 9th of 407 cities in the region for fan affinity with a 99 score, and the venue scores 84 with her audience.

Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center holds 600, per cvent.com.

The same model, without Qloo

Every tour runs twice. Before the agent looks anything up, the same model routes the same shows from what it already knows, and both tours are scored on the artist's own Qloo evidence.
